Q. Im considering having surgery on my breasts. Ive always been up and down with my weight and as a result of my weight problem my breasts have suffered and have started to sag. I have been cosidering surgery on them and just wanted to know the procedures.
A. Thank you for your inquiry. In general terms, correction of breast ptosis (sagging) is achieved using a mastopexy or breast uplift procedure. Depending on whether the breast the volume is excessive or insufficient, the procedure may take the form of a breast reduction which incorporates an uplift automatically, or a breast uplift with the addition of breast implants.
